Beverage Director Thibaut Idenn presents a delicious new recipe- “Moscow Mule” (Recipe adjusted by Slava Borisov, Mixologist of The Langham Chicago). Do try this at home and let us know how it turned out!
- 1.5 oz Absolut Elyx
- 0.25 oz Fresh squeeze lime juice
- 3.5 oz Homemade ginger beer*
* Homemade ginger beer – combine 11 oz of fresh squeeze ginger juice, 3.5 oz of fresh squeeze lime juice, 3.5 oz fresh squeeze lemon juice and 7 oz of sugar syrup (1 part of granulated white sugar and 1 part of hot water, stir well until sugar dissolve) in siphon. Apply CO2 cartridge to carbonate the mixture.
Pour vodka, lime juice and carbonated ginger beer in the mug, stir with a bar spoon. Add crushed ice on top, put straw and garnish.
Garnish—mint sprig, dehydrated lime chip, homemade candied ginger.
Serve in a Moscow Mule copper mug.
