Starting on February 11, 2022, Travelle at The Langham Chicago is launching a new dinner menu and private five-course experience in the Cellar executed by Chef de Cuisine, Justin Gomes. Expect a wide range of flavors and innovative dishes that will rotate throughout the season and interactive elements that honor Travelle’s seasonal American style.
Chef Justin, formerly of Alinea and The Pump Room, believes in a philosophy of honoring all ingredients he uses in the kitchen while presenting them in an elegant, fun and approachable way. He aims to create a menu that not only triggers a sense of nostalgia in our guests but is also reflective of his team. He plans to do so by using flavors and concepts familiar to our guests and our team in new and unique ways that are both interactive and surprising.
Current menu highlights include charred charred sunchoke with jasmine tea, Meyer lemon and olive oil; Aomori scallop with yuzu kosho & citrus, nori and New Zealand Venison with beet, pumpernickel and cherries. Guests can book this five-course (with surprise elements) dining menu for up to six guests on Friday and Saturday evenings at $150 per person. A wine pairing and alternate beverage pairing menu will be available. Reservations are required.
