On Saturday, March 16, The Langham, Chicago is incorporating Irish charm into its standout food and beverage offerings during the city’s St. Patrick’s Day festivities. Guests can indulge in the offerings below while viewing the Parade and River Dyeing through Travelle’s floor-to-ceiling windows or from the hotel’s outdoor plaza overlooking the Chicago River.

Travelle Bar + Lounge is bringing back its decadent St. Patrick’s Day Brunch featuring classic Irish breakfast specials, a gourmet seafood display, signature breakfast items and much more. Additionally, The Langham, Chicago’s Ice Cream Social outdoor-pop up will be open for one day only until later this summer and will be featuring specialty St. Patty’s-inspired artisanal gelato flavors and other delicious treats.

For those seeking a luxurious St. Patrick’s Day celebration, Travelle offers a chic atmosphere with sweeping views of the Chicago River tucked away on the second floor of The Langham. Guests can reserve a seat or table in the window-framed bar + lounge to enjoy an elevated brunch experience from Executive Chef Damion Henry.

The menu will feature elevated Irish breakfast items including a Classic Shepherd’s Pie with Colorado Lamb, Corn Beef and Cabbage Hash, and Baked Egg Shakshuka. Additional menu offerings include a selection of French pastries, items from the Langham’s signature breakfast such as a Poached Egg Benedict with Canadian Bacon and Green Goddess Hollandaise, and a seafood display featuring seasonal oysters and chilled jumbo shrimp. Pre-paid reservations can be made via Tock ($150 per person).

Want a festive treat? Indulge your sweet tooth at The Langham’s Ice Cream Social pop-up located on the hotel’s outdoor plaza. Nestled alongside the Chicago River, the pop-up is reopening for just one day (Saturday, March 16) in celebration of the lucky holiday. Parade-goers can visit the plaza to enjoy homemade, limited-edition St. Patrick’s Day artisan gelato flavors.

The specialty gelato flavors include Bailey’s Irish Cream, Lucky Charm, Double Chocolate Obsession and Madagascar Vanilla. Guests can customize their tasty treats by swirling the flavors together or adding toppings such as a green cotton candy cloud, rainbow sprinkles, lucky charms crunch, and more. The Ice Cream Social menu will also feature a delectable Valentino Hot Chocolate served with toasted marshmallow and whipped cream.

New Year’s Eve Chicago 2023 | New Year’s Day 2024

Join Travelle Restaurant for dinner on New Year’s Eve before you kick off your night of celebrations. Between 5:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m., Travelle will be featuring an iconic prix-fixe menu featuring specially crafted specials like Dungeness Crab, Wagyu Tartare with truffle and Royal Kaluga Caviar. Offered December 31 from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.; reservations can be made via Tock, ($170-195).
